Birthday BBQ

Birthday BBQ - 
BBQ Hamburgers and Hot Dogs
Bagged Chips (dip recipe below)
Canned Busch Baked Beans
Layered Green Salad (recipe below)
Watermelon Slices (chilled)

Layered Salad
1 cup salad dressing
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper
6 cups lettuce or other leafy green (your choice on type) torn into bite-sized pieces
1 cup celery, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, diced

1 cup shredded carrots2 medium tomatoes, diced
2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced thin

Croutons (optional)
Mix salad dressing, salt, pepper, and parsley with lettuce in a large mixing bowl. To make salad:  in a Trifle Bowl (or other large glass bowl) put 1/2 the lettuce mix on bottom, then layer 1/2 of the bell pepper, then 1/2 of the celery, then 1/2 of the carrots, then 1/2 of the tomatoes, making sure the layers are even and don't mix (much). Repeat 1 time. Top with egg slices and croutons (if desired). Keep cold until ready to serve.



Dill Dip
1 cup Mayonasise
1 cup sour cream
2 tbsp Pampered Chef Dill Seasoning Mix (or any other PC seasoning/rub)
Mix together. Let set, in refrigerator, at least an hour. Serve.


Bean Dip
1 can refried beans
1/2 cup salsa
1 tsp garlic salt with parsley
1/2 cup shredded cheddar or jack cheese (or 1/4 shredded cheese and 1/4 cream cheese, for a creamier dip)
Mix in a microwavable bowl. Microwave 1.5 - 3 minutes on high or until cheese is melted. Stir and serve.
